- Start your journey at the Old Harbour, walking towards Kalogeriko (a gorgeous two-storey building home to various exhibitions and cultural events), and past the Gate of Hermes And Charites.
- Make sure to stop by the Church of the Holy Apostles for a beautiful view of the sea.
- Head to Thassos’ Ancient Theatre.
- Continue your walk in the Acropolis of Thassos occupying three hills above the Ancient Agora; home to castle ruins, the Temple of Athena and Pan Sanctuary, respectively.
- From here, you can head towards Ancient Agora, either via the Gate of Silenus, Sanctuary of Heracles and Ancient Odeon or simply by tracing your steps back. Whichever you choose, you will only be a stone’s throw away from the Ancient Agora, the political, administrative, commercial and religious centre of the ancient town of Thassos.
For a more curated experience, you can visit the Archaeological Museum and Kalogeriko in Limenas and Theologos Folklore Museum in the mansion-house Hatzigiorgi in Theologos, both often quoted among the top things to do in Thassos.
